Earlier this year , the owners of WeChat have paused their works on the Universal Windows Platform (UWP) app. But now it seems they started working again on WeChat UWP app, as a new screen shot of the app has leaked in a twitter, posted by Hyken Wong.

Leaked Screenshot reveals the new design for the app as per the Windows 10 guidelines We can simply notice the hamburger menu design , and a tab bar at bottom for easy navigation.
We can still use the WeChat app for on your devices from the store till the time Windows 10 UWP app arrives.
