Windows 10 Mobile offline Maps data has received an update today and you can check for the update by going to Settings—>System—>Offline Maps—> Check Now. In case you have toggled on “Automatic Map updates”, your offline maps data may have been already updated.

Coming to what changes this updated Maps data brings, there is no official word but HERE has posted an article talking about Maps data update. And since Windows Maps still uses HERE Maps data it should be valid for Windows 10 Mobile too. Here is the changelog as per official HERE Blog post.

Today’s offline map update will add transit lines and stops in Bauru and Marília in Brazil, Menorca and Valencia in Spain, Thessaloniki in Greece. The national railway of Romania is now also visible in our maps. The transit line geometry and visual style in San Francisco Bay Area and in New England was updated to more accurately reflect their layout on the ground.
