Nokia-XL-Dual-SIM-jpgYou may remember RM-1061, the Nokia XL’s variant with TD-LTE, which we reported passing certification in China. While, it was suspected that it may not get launched, it seems Microsoft still plans to launch the models, which have reached to certification stage. The Nokia XL 4G brings not only LTE support but bumped up hardware & specs like,

Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor

1 GB RAM

Considerably lighter at 158 gm than 190 gm of Nokia XL

You can read our Nokia XL review to understand more about the device as rest of the specs including camera, display remain unchanged. But, with LTE support and updated processor it should get some serious speed advantage over Nokia XL.

Nokia XL 4G will be soon be joined by Nokia X2 which has also passed certification in China. These may be the last Nokia branded Android devices coming from Microsoft, as Microsoft has already planned to cull the Nokia X line.
