This may not be too hard to believe, but rumors are after all rumors. An anonymous tipster just sent this to our inbox. According to this rumor, Lumia 928 will see many improvements over Lumia 920 thereby justifying “928″ over “920“.

  • It will run on faster Snapdragon Pro dual-core processor with Adreno 320 GPU. If you remember Adreno 320 GPU was in news for Lumia 920T as well but seems it didn’t make it to Lumia 920T. So, may be it was more of a beta testing then in garb of Lumia 920T. Anyways this seems possible.

  • It will come with much more improved FFC than Lumia 920 with 2.2 MP count . Having a look at Lumia 720′ FFC, it is no surprise to us that Lumia 928 will have much better FFC and even some leaked images prove that. But 2.2 MP figure may be bit debatable.

  • Rear Camera will have larger sensor but will deliver 8/9 MP images only and much better daylight/low-light performance. Surprisingly the Verizon rep at WPCentral has also been listening about a 12 MP Lumia for last six months, which again makes us wonder, whether Nokia has finally plonked N8’s sensor to Lumia 928 ? Anyways some of the leaked images have been really good.

  • Finally, something which may be given, as new Flagships usually come loaded with latest Firmware. Hence no surprise as Lumia 928 will come with latest GDR2 Firmware.

The timing of release of GDR2 Firmware which makes the captured photos sharper and more natural and Lumia 928 coming loaded with bigger camera sensor are in sync. As we know all the Nokia imaging Flagships have been capturing detailed images closer to real life and that’s why they are loved by imaging enthusiasts.

From our point of view, take this all with a pinch of salt, after all “Rumors are Rumors“. In the meantime, do let us know what do you think about this Tip !!
